What is an affiliate site?

An affiliate site is a site much like Amazon.com (although with a few big differences), which presents products from different merchants and gets a percentage of the product’s price when it is bought by a visitor. Unlike Amazon.com, affiliate sites do not actually handle any transactions with the visitor/customer, being paid only by the merchant whose products are listed – this makes it (and therefore us) free to use for any visitor.
